Knitted baby clothes

Yesterday I had a day off work, and as part of this a successful trip finding buttons for two of the baby garments I’ve recently knitted.

I’ve been looking around for a blocking kit: big jigsaw fitted blocking pieces with pins and wire. But I’m thinking I’ll have to buy them online. Even in a big city like Melbourne noone seems to have them.

So I’ve made do with my ironing board, an old towel and a big sheet of corrugated cardboard.

Just to sew the buttons on now!

But most nights (and all weekend) this is how I currently look:

I really have to get this damn cross stitch finished, or I’ll never get onto any of the big ideas I’m desperate to start. Must. Finish. Current. Project. Hnnngh.
